Creativity Workshop 1: Embracing Digital Scrapbooking
Coordinated by Maria Nerius
Sponsored by Memorytrends
The focus of the morning Creativity Workshop is the digital world of scrapbooking, paper arts, and memory crafters. The digital market isn’t just for the traditional scrapbooker, but it’s filled with teens, men, and our seniors.  Are you taking advantage of bringing in these customers? Explore the world of totally digital scrapbooks, combining digital elements with traditional scrapbooking supplies, how paper artists are combining digital components to create keepsakes and art, and how to keep the legacy of journaling alive in a digital world. Attendees will have hands-on time to create four projects, be presented with dozens of additional examples and samples to expand demo and class ideas, and take home some of the latest great products from the digital and scrapbooking markets. Projects will include hand embellished photo postcards, two digitally enhanced scrapbook pages, and a personal journal. You’ll have plenty of fun, learn how to serve your digital customers, and have a chance to win prizes.
